Welcome to our church website. Here you will have access to information about many of our ministries and events that our church provides for not only our local community, but to men, women, and children around the world.
The Bible tells us in John 3:16, For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. We want you to know for sure that Heaven is your eternal home. Our burden at Shady Acres Baptist Church is to help people.
We are an Independent Bible Believing Baptist Church that preaches and teaches from the King James 1611 Bible. We have three preaching services each week, Sunday School classes for all ages, as well as a free and open Bible Institute during the school year on Monday and Tuesday evening.
Our goal is to reach the city of Houston and its metropolis with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and His amazing Grace that reaches to whomsoever calls upon his name. We are lifting up our eyes unto the fields for they are white already to harvest, so that's why we are reaching out to sinners here as well as in the regions beyond through our missionaries and Faith Promise Program.
