Dear Friend,

The Bible tells us in John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." We want you to know for sure that Heaven is your eternal home. Our burden at Shady Acres Baptist Church is to be a help to you and to show you the way of salvation.
We are an independent Bible believing Baptist Church. We preach and teach from the King James 1611 Bible. We want every Christian to know exactly what God wants to do in his or her  life. That is why we have a thorough teaching in our Sunday School classes, so each person can grow in the Lord day by day.
Our goal is to reach the city of Houston and its metropolis with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. His amazing grace will reach to whosoever calls upon His name. Our goal is also to send and support missionaries in the regions beyond so that the whole world can know of the Saviour!
